HALT and BGS IC CAE Tour KSP Facilities

On March 24, 2017, the Homeland Security and Assets Protection Leaders of Tomorrow (HALT) and the BGS IC CAE and the hosted a tour at Kentucky State Police (KSP) headquarters facilities in Frankfort, KY.  The tour began at the Central Laboratory where participants learned how evidence is processed by KSP.  Afterwards, the participants were provided a tour of the KSP Academy and information on the 23-week academy program.  Lastly, participants toured the Records and Technology Building where they gained knowledge on the intelligence, records keeping, and digital forensics activities of KSP.  Throughout the event, participants were able to interact with KSP employees and officers as well as to ask questions.
