NSA Provides Virtual Guest Lecture to BGS IC CAE Students
In a joint BGS IC CAE and HALT event on September 14, 2018, two representatives from the National Security Agency (NSA) graciously spent over an hour on a video call with BGS IC CAE students from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) discussing the NSA and what they look for in new hires. The event began with an information session, where NSA representatives discussed the numerous opportunities available within the agency—positions in cyber, analysis, and the police force, just to name a few. Afterwards, a question and answer session was hosted, during which students were encouraged to ask questions and engage in dialogue with the NSA representatives. Students received incredible information on the application and training processes, as well as the career possibilities available with the NSA. The NSA representatives were exceptionally encouraging to the students, and shared they hold the EKU intelligence studies program in high regard. This is in addition to the NSA representatives stating the IC CAE Scholars Program especially noteworthy.
